CCNP (Professional)
Frame Switch?
Geek1969
I have been looking over the CCNP material and reading posts here looking for any mention of Frame Relay, but not finding it. Am I safe to sell my 2610 w/ NM 4AS that I used for CCNA? I am going to buy a L3 switch soon, and might sell a few things to help pay for it. Current lab setup:
2-3640
1-2620xm
1-2610 FR
1-2511 AS
4-2501
3-2950
Thinking of selling 2610 FR, 2-2501's and 1-2950. Any reason I should keep any of these for CCNP?

Frame Relay scenarios are presented in the CCNP material. Things like how to tune EIGRP and OSPF to work properly over FR.
A 4 port cloud like you have should be fine.
For the SWITCH test, having serveral switches is helpful and 2950's are perfect secondary switches. A 3550 or two is good for the MLS material.
Good luck with it!

Thanks for the input. I did find some talk of running routing protocols over FR this morning actually. Guess I will be keeping what I have and adding a L3 switch or two then.
