Hello to all and first post
Hello.
Wishing you are all studying well.
Just passed the Network+ this morning. Barely passed. 747 score.
Not a great result but I am personnaly satisfied since network is my weakest point.
Sybex book, this forum with technotes and the french book : reseaux by
Andrew Tanembaum. Add professor Messor videos and the blank test here for my studies.
Studying for Security+ now.
Feelings I had while taking the exam: First quarter of questions I was a little sweating. Half to 3/4 went very fast. Last series were referring to the french book for some topics.
This is my entry post. Expect me to ask for advice often.
Keep studying and doing the good work

How long did you study for the NET+ for?
I ask as I am just starting to study now and am looking to knock it down by the end of November and I am very weak with networking.

Welcome to TE and keep us updated on your progress. No problem on questions, glad to help out! -

Good luck with the studying! Which material are you planning to work with for the Sec+? I find many here recommend the Darill Gibson book which i picked up. -

Congratz......A pass is a pass!!!! For your security plus, I would recommend that you purchase Darril Gibson's book. -
FrankTh Member Posts: 30 ■□□□□□□□□□Hello to all.
Thank you for the comments.
I really appreciate the interactions in this forum.
To steve2012, I studied since april. Though july and august were mostly off because of extra hours at work.
To kidainny, I am currently using the sybex book.
To security tech, I ordered the book from Darril Gibson.
Since I have never read any of his books and they are highly recommended, is only a + to have it.
Thank you all for your encouragement and support.

AnthonyG Member Posts: 44 ■■□□□□□□□□Well if you don't kill your memory with alcohol every weekend.... a good month of 3-4 days a week for a couple hours should get you a passing score. Get comfortable with the material and you'll do just fine.Congrats on the pass.
