Dial plan configuration

I have an issue where one particular number from one particular partition is not being passed by CCM. We are using an old 4.x version of CCM (yea, an update is planned... don't get me started.) and have 9.@ configured on the partition. I'm trying to troubleshoot the issue, and so far I have come up with the following:
We will call the number in question Y.
Someone from Partition A calls Y, and it gets "Your call cannot be completed as dialed" from CCM.
Someone from Partition B calls Y, and it works.
From everything that I have seen from gateway to partition, A and B have identical configurations.
I am considering adding a dial plan for exactly Y, but am nervous about breaking a production dial plan. Anyone have advice for continuing troubleshooting?

If that turns up nothing, then check out the "Dialed Number Analyzer" utility – I think that it needs to be installed separately in CM 4.x. That should tell you exactly where the call is failing.CCNP:Collaboration, CCNP:R&S, CCNA:S, CCNA:V, CCNA, CCENT -

Thank you for the advice. According to that tool, the call manager wants to route the call. Which makes me think that the gateway is stopping it somehow... hmmm...Currently PursuingWGU (BS in IT Network Administration) - 52%| CCIE:Voice Written - 0% (0/200 Hours)mikej412 wrote:Cisco Networking isn't just a job, it's a Lifestyle.
