I've always wondered what the role of a 'Systems Analyst' entails, is this a good definition of such a post, and if so how does it differ from that of a System Administrator or IT Technician? icon_smile.gif

I can see components of both of these roles described in this job description? It does sound like an excellent opportunity for somebody!

Well, the systems analyst title does have a dual definition. Sometimes the position is a MIS type that translates business requirements to technical requirements but other times, as is the case with this position, it is a transitional role that moves from technical support troubleshooting to server troubleshooting and administration.

Unfortunately, no. However, the network administrator position is still open so we could find someone from here for that one.
