Taking a stab at CVOICE

Well after technically studying for it for almost 2 years now, taking a CCNA Voice class, a CCIE:voice bootcamp, watching the CoD from INE, and a year or so of increasing hands on with our environment at work, I think I am FINALLY going to take the CVOICE exam
I think I would like to finish my CCVP by next spring, but its always getting the first one down thats hard. Im hoping the next 4 will go faster haha. QoS should be pretty easy from past experience, and I am building a lab for CIPT1/2 so hopefully those will be fun. I have heard TUC can be a tough one though.
Only thing I am worried about are some of the basic technologies I don't see often/ever, like CME, CUE, and even SIP for the most part. That stuff I will be relying mostly on the book for.

Exam is next Friday. First Cisco exam in over a year, it feels weird! -
GT-Rob Member Posts: 1,090I passed! Not by much, but a pass is a pass haha
I forgot what it was like taking a Cisco exam, and almost ran out of time. I forgot you can't think about a question, just answer and move on. Also my testing center actually put my picture on my score report which is pretty cool. It might have just been the center, but they seem MUCH more organized and secure than previous tests, which was nice to see.
Feel free to remove this if it breaks the NDA, but I was surprised to not see a sim/simlet question(s). I would think for a practical exam like this there would have been, but perhaps that was just my test...
Otherwise, exam was a pretty good mix of the topics. Lots of GK/CUBE questions beat me up. Don't know why but I was hoping for some CUCM questions but I don't even think they are on the blueprint, just a few references to a "UA".
Anyway, I suppose I will finally do QoS next, since I have the books and it is quite familiar for me. Then maybe work on the CUCM exams over the winter. -

Yeah, they do that now. The only center in 100 miles of me recently lost its testing ability because they didn't have the right color backdrop for the photos. They also increased the number of video cameras in the past few months. -

When I did my CCNA I got a black and white picture on my score report. When I did the CCNA Security I actually got a color picture on my report. Seems like most testing centers are doing this now. -
