CISA Doubts
Hi,
I have a total of 5 years of experience in IT Development and Maintainance and presently working in a software company.
I am planning to change my field may be move into Auditing.
Planning for a CISA certification.(Is CISA is the rite way)
Will it be a good move?
What are my chances going forward.
I hope my previous years of experience don't get wasted.
Please help me solve my doubts and provide any other value able thoughts
Regards

Auditing experience is becoming more and more in demand because of the heightened level of regulation in most industries. The medical and financial industries snatch up CISAs constantly. My cursory review of the material (and being around Dynamik during his CISA) really make me believe it’s one of the more dry certs out there.CCNP | CCIP | CCDP | CCNA, CCDA

There are certain years of experience requirements and work experiences in itself you must meet in order to be a CISA. Additionally, without much of an auditing or IT security background, this test may be very difficult to grasp.
This is not an entry level certification. May I ask what other certifications you hold at the moment?Next Up...
