Passed 220-302 today (or yesterday, Friday the 28th, now I guess.) Stumbled upon this site like 2 days before my test and am glad I have fellow certification seekers to mingle with.

Passed Hardware on Nov. 29 with a 622 and OS on Jan. 28 with a 613. Not super-high - but I'll take it!

Also a neat lil' pneumonic I made up for the Windows 9x/Me boot order is:

I M Fig Man Auto, Start Win

(IO.SYS, MSDOS.SYS, CONFIG.SYS, COMMAND.COM, AUTOEXEC.BAT, WINSTART.BAT, WIN.COM)

It helps if you say it in a robot-like voice: I am figman auto, start win

A neat one for the NT-kernel based OSes is:

Loader Bill's In Bull Durham North Carolina, North South? North East?

NTLDR (Loader), BOOT.INI (Bill's In), BOOTSECT.DOS (BullDurham), NTDETECT.COM (North Carolina), NTBOOTDD.SYS (North South), NTKERNL.EXE (North East)

Don't know if any of those lil' devices I used will help anyone, but just thought I'd share (in fact I'm not even sure if that's the right boot order!!! )
