So if a seminar says CISSP can you still take the SSCP there or does it vary from seminar to seminar?

I have heard good things about Shon Harris in general. Mind you, I would be preparing for the SSCP not the CISSP. -

The CISSP and SSCP are two different certifications, two different Common Bodies of Knowledge (CBK), and two different exams. There is some overlap in material, but unless you already know a great deal of the material covered by the SSCP CBK, I would not expect to pass the SSCP after only taking a CISSP course.
