I would imagine the payscale is more or less (maybe a few grand going either way) what the typical IT salary is in Las Vegas, total.
Have you searched for what that would be? Also, what type of IT work are you looking for, specifically? If it's "any", then start at the bottom and work your way to the top in terms of searching salaries at sites like salary.com and payscale.com. -

do they have many computers in them then? -

Depends on the position and the casino.
I interviewed for a NOC Engineer at Bellagio and the pay was $60,000. I turned it down. The guy literally said "This is a high stress environment and management will constantly be yelling at you and testing your limits". If I wasn't married and didn't have a baby, probably would've taken the job just because of the location and prestige.
By the way, Vegas sucks unless you are single and have lots of money. -

Considering the scale of technology we needed to know about, the rate was quite poor. It wasn't just the datacentre either; there were all the kiosks, hotel networks, croupier money machines and assorted customised gadgets spread out everywhere. On top of that is the expected availability that comes with a 24x7 environment.
Of course, the experience is amazing, and I've heard having a casino on your resume gets some good respect.
