Passed!!!

I passed the ICND 2 today. 876/1000 with 20 minutes left at the end. I suppose I could have tried to use those minutes to squeak in a couple extra points but I'm happy either way.

The test was similar to my first try but I did think I got a few really complex questions that I didn't see last time. I also got a couple that were so ridiculously easy I had to re-read them a couple times just to make sure.

Thanks everyone for your help and support!

Well I suppose the biggest help to me was writing it twice ;) You become very very aware of your weak areas... Switching was my lowest score last time and my highest this time.

Other than that know your weak areas and lab/study till they aren't weak any more. You don't want to be sitting there thinking about what should be an easy one click answer get it wrong and have less time for sims and multi-part questions.

I also picked up Lammle's ccna study guide and went through all my weak areas after I failed the first time. He definitely covers some material that the cisco press book doesn't have and also explains things in a different way which I think helps.

    Good luck!

I think CCNA voice IIUC is up next. I bought a 1760 and with the cme loaded and I can borrow phones from work so I'm pretty well ready to go.
