System Engineer – Virtualization – VMWare
Job Description
·This person will work on-site, full-time, for about 3-4 months duration, and would need to have all of the following technical and security qualifications:
·Active "Secret" level DoD security clearance ( We have the ability to process a clearance)
·Two years Server Administration experience
·Security+ certified
·VMware certified
·Demonstrated experience with VMware software (e.g., ESX, vSphere, View/VDI)
·Demonstrated experience with HP BladeSystem c3000 enclosures and blades
·Experience with ISCSI storage systems
·Demonstrated experience with setting up, configuring, and administering HP Thin Client configurations
·Experience with Symantec Backup Exec
Additional Job Info
In addition to these technical qualifications, this temporary worker would also have to be able to accommodate all of the following:
·Work must be performed at PCD, working with (and taking daily direction from) PCD government IT staff.
·Work hours follow PCD's facility schedule, meaning four (4) 10-hour days each week (excluding U.S. Federal holidays), specifically: Monday - Thursday, 6:30am to 5pm)
·Although daily tasking and directions will come from PCD government IT staff, this position will be overseen by and funded through DPRA Inc. (based at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal (RMA) in the Denver area), and from a contractual perspective, the position will report to DPRA's RMA IT manager.
