Been working on this one for a while now. Studying it concurrently with 642 has been a great strategy for me. Learning and labbing AD been a real blast.
Winding down my revision quickly as I don't like studying too close to the big day.

There were 50 questions with all questions referring to R2.
Some of the certificate services and gpo questions were toughies.
Now onto 643..... -

What did you use to study? I'm using the Sybex and MS Pressbook, but I am a little worried since they are not geared towards R2. I've got a copy of Mastering R2 I'll be going through as well. -
LCA Member Posts: 215My main resource for study material was Technet, there is a wealth of material about AD infrastructure there if you dig around. I also used the MS Active Directory Resource Kit. To study the very knotty topic of certificate services I used "Windows Server 2008 PKI and Certificate Security" by Brian Komar (published by MS).
On top of that I labbed heaps of stuff on VM's. -

Would you be able to post some of the R2 specific topics that you got? I'm not looking for a **** or anything, but just some things that you saw that were R2 specific and you wouldn't be able to get correct if you only studied 2008 standard.
I'm labbing everything out in R2 right now, and I'm seeing very few differences in following the labs in the MS Press study guide. Most everything is exactly the same.
