I have a Server 2008 R2 system that hosts an IIS based web service. I have installed the URL Rewrite Module for IIS and attempted to make some rules. I need to transform this URL:
http://macdb.domain.net/MacWebService.asmx
to this URL:
http://macdb.domain.net/MacWebService
inside the WSDL XML file itself. I can get the URL in the browser to redirect without an issue, but I want to strip out all external indications of the fact that this is a Windows implementation of the web service in case in 6 months or a year things have to be changed. Any ideas?
