mike meyers 7th edition or mike meyers passport

Hello everyone, I bought the mike meyers all in one passport. I also have the mike meyers all in one 7th edition. Which of those two should i stick with? I am already on chapter 16 on the 7th edition book but to me the passport book weeds out the bla and gets right to the point. Yet i feel that reading the 7th edition first then the passport book is the way to go.

Which would you go with?

If you have some decent experience then I would go ahead with the Passport book. If not I would then would stick with the All in One.

Me personally I'm sure I could get by on the passport book but I rather be over prepared then under prepared.
