Hi There , does know the principle behind the new Ethernet over the main , and if its happening over Layer one or 2 .

    it's not really new but I suppose IEEE just ratified a standard this year IEEE P1901. It operates at Layer 1 and Layer 2. The IEEE group was formed in 2007 but there were implementations well before that.

    what do you mean by both Layer1 & 2 ? can you explain , or if you have a link for more information ?

    Doues have a MAC address ?
