No longer work in IT. Play around with stuff sometimes still and fix stuff for friends and relatives.

Yeah, I've already been through the whole CCNA through the Cisco NetAcad last year in college. It definitely is a different set of study.

BTW where in East TN are you? I am also located in East TN.

Which resources did you use to make the pass that easy?

Which resources did you use to make the pass that easy?

Labsim CCNA, Odom Cisco Press books, Cisco Netacad (4 classes in college).

Plus lots of independent labbing and subnetting. Basically I have been studying on and off for a year lol.
    I suppose it payed off!
I guess the reason it seemed easy to me (and the reason I was stressed about it) was the fact that the netacad tests and assignments our teacher had us do seemed alot harder!

that is to funny man, I am the same way before test. When I took my MCSA03 290 (they called it the beast) I was seriously puking in the room, and I passed. Thank god i was the only one there at the time. Ended up going straight to the ER and had 911 surgery on my Gull Bladder (removed). The lady at the test center was tiring to reschedule I told her "he%$ no!".

Whats were your opinions of the CCNA labsim?

As for learning the material (if you do not have prior Cisco/CCNA experience) it is not very good, however if you already know the material somewhat, it is great for review and explanation on some fuzzy topics. I got it with a student discount for $69, or I wouldn't have wasted my time with it.

Heck of a bump, but searched the forums based on "labsim" as I don't have much experience (apart from the random ACL and basic switch setup - i.e. 3950G/E) and a lot of people seem to suggest labsim for "newstarter" - guess that is not the case then ...
