Windows 7 Intermittently Losing Internet Connection

Hi guys,

I have recently encountered an Internet connection problem with my Windows 7 Home Premium Laptop. It has occurred pretty often the last couple of months, and I have tried many solutions that failed to solve my problem. Has anyone else here encountered the same or a similar problem? My Internet connection intermittently loses connection while I'm surfing the net or downloading a file on a daily basis. I have googled and checked all of the help sites, but nothing seems to remedy my problem.

Check the power setting on the NIC. We have turned off letting Windows control the power, and kept it constantly on.
