Grading is just like the ITIL V3 Foundation. The difficulty was about the same. You get 60 minutes to take the exam. I used the book from Van Haren off of the Exin site to study and the material provided from the website. I would consider this more of a process than technology exam. Very informative however, especially since security and networking are my weakest areas.
Not sure what is next up. I might jump into my DBA material or go with Network +.
Feels good to get this one out of the way!

Congratulations on the EX0-102 exam.
For the exam of SOA, you only studied the book or attended a training institute?

It was for OSA not SOA.
I read the book twice cover to cover and also attended a training institute. -

Thanks MS. I found the material very interesting. Since you have the ISO and ITIL background this should be a lot easier than for someone just stepping into the framework.
The only reason I am stopping at the foundation level is because I honestly don't feel I use ISO 20000 or 27002 enough to get certified in it beyond the foundation. Being in the Service Desk and consistently being asked what I think about this or that or questioned on different processes getting the OSA was a solid move IMO.
Not to mention it was your idea to pursue it. Tha capability one was perfect. -

Not a problem man
To be honest you guys would best be served just getting the full blown consultant / auditor version of the 27002 exam. I know a lot of the Government buildings ran by GSA are implementing ISO 27002. A lot of the practices in the book and exam are in the works at the government building I use to work at.
Gates around certain parking lots. CAC cards and new walls, doors, and security cameras. It had ISO 27002 written all over it. -

As you just passed, maybe you have an answer to such a question.
You know what is the validity of those certifications?
On the EXIN web site
http://www.exin-exams.com/NL/en/exams/&exam=information-security-foundation-based-on-iso/iec-27002
there is no information regarding validity period.
Thanks
