Need tech notes

I'm having trouble with I/O address and DMA address can someone piont to any site or tech notes from this site cause I'm not finding them. Thanks

Theres a Practice exam for DMA/IRQ/IO. That should help.
Im sure a quick google search will bring up some good tables and stuff too.

I tried puting I/O & DMA in the search engine nothing really came back to me. Any other suggestion guys

Also, Dont go Crazy on this stuff.
I know for me there wasnt much on it on the exam.
I think if you remember the I/O and IRQs for
COM 1 - 4
LPT 1,2
IDE 1,2
FDD
Then You should be good.
I think I had about 4 questions in total on the exam on this stuff. And probally 2 or 3 of them were COM stuff.

For COM port I/O addresses, write them down and you will see a pattern.

Perhaps next revision DMA, IRQ and I/O addy's go away. Legacy hardware is just that...
