I installed it on a computer a few days ago and have been checking it out. It does what it promises to do. Gui is a bit rough around the edges although that doesn't mater to much.

The techniques Firesheep uses aren't new. People have been doing this since unencrypted HTTP existed. What is new is that somebody has packaged it all up into an easy to use tool. Go go script kiddies...

Right, nothing it is doing is new. The reason that Firesheep made a big impact at ToorCon was due to how easy it made it and it's extensibility across different sites.
