Passed the exam today with a 799. Not too impressed with my score, but I’ll take it.

Can you give us a review about what materials you used , which practice exams you used , which books etc etc....... -

As others have said - very long winded questions. I took the full 2 hours (including review of marked questions). As with every other exam I have taken so far, I walked away thinking I absorbed thousands of facts (through experience, books, and online resources) and was only tested on a handful of them. Guess that’s the point. There was one topic (which kind of surprised me) I was hit hard on – and it wasn’t covered well in my books. I felt like I aced the harder questions, but some of the “easier” ones I had trouble with.
Resources Used:
MS Training Kit – No real complaints, but it lacked in a few areas - such as Riprep details – more advanced sysprep commands (factory, reseal). I’m sure the 2nd edition will cover them.
Exam Cram2 – Overall good book – filled in some of the areas the Training Kit missed. But remember it’s a “cram”.
Exam Cram2 Practice Question book/CD – Some questions were similar to the exam – although it did have errors and filler questions (XP Home)
TechNotes – Many thanks to Webmaster! I woke up on the morning of my exam in a sheer panic. I sat back with a cup of coffee and read the TechNotes again. And thanks for putting up with my often lame questions. I’m sure there’s more to come.
MS – can’t stress enough to spend a great deal of time here. Whether it’s the XP Pro Resource Kit, 2000 Server, or 2003 Server – you can find the answers if you dig.

That's the truth.
