Paging groups... where did they go?

Alright, I was making an assumption that something in CME would be found in CCM or CUCM. Paging groups is throwing me off. I can't find any functionality for configuring or implementing this feature.

I have a user who wants to pick up the phone, dial a number, and have it come out of the intercom of the phones. Naturally, I think paging groups which I had configured in CME. Is there another way to do this in CCM 4.x or CUCM 8.0?

Not sure about 8.0, but the last time that I checked, you needed a 3rd party app to make it happen. Some listed in this thread:

    CCNP:Collaboration, CCNP:R&S, CCNA:S, CCNA:V, CCNA, CCENT

They are all dead links, but thanks anyway XD.

I knew that there were third party apps that supported it but what kind of lame person came up with the idea that the express small business router can have features that a cluster of many thousands of dollars worth of servers can not.

I'm frowning at YOU cisco. First you change it to CCNP: Voice, and apparently you had this skulduggery up your sleeve all along.

Yeah, two totally different products - though they are getting much closer with each revision. I blame Selsius Systems :)

Syn-Apps Make some nice add-on stuff:

This is the group my local Cisco Reps pitched to us when we were looking for a similar function. We did a bunch of demos and such, its all pretty slick. I guess the guys who run this company were the actual api developers of the CM systems (or at least thats what I have heard).
