What sort of materials should I use for CCENT revision?

I hear Odom's study guide is good and even Lammle's study guide is good too.

When people say using a couple of study sources is useful what do they mean?

Alot of people use more than one book to study for the exam - that's all they mean. The Odom books are nice because they have everything you'll need to know and come with a practice exam that's harder than the real test. Many people have passed with that as their only text. I read Lammle's book in addition, but could have passed without it.

Don't forget to lab, lab, lab as well. Get a simulator or buy some used gear on ebay.
