I accepted a new position today as an IT security specialist. I will primarily be doing incident handling and network forensics.
I bring nothing useful to the table...

It just wasn't a good fit for me, so I am currently in the process of getting another job. I'm pretty much just waiting for the written offer letter. This job will be doing some more hands on security testing.
This is a prime example of not burning your bridges. My old firm is hiring me back at a higher position.I bring nothing useful to the table... -

No, I had a bit of experience in security before I ever took the GCIA, or did anything packet capture related.I bring nothing useful to the table...
