today's message from me is keep your head up the opportunities will come.

been on the hunt in one form or another for the past year after feeling like i hit a brick wall as far as moving forward in my current position and i'm excited to say I have taken up a new position with a local consulting firm. TONS of opportunity for myself here as far as projects and hands on experience goes, nice salary increase, and lots of interesting perks like a cellphone, company car, etc....

    Did you do anything special like haunt the local technology centers and stalk the hiring managers? Or did you just luck out and get a call via the job boards or get a call back from an application to a job board posting?

    Thanks for the encouragement; while I am thankful that I have a good job, I am wanting to relocate and it is driving me bonkers! Got some good leads in the works thogh, hopefully something will drop soon.

    got a call back, there were plenty of times over the course of the search where I doubted myself and my abilities but really what it came down to was finding the right fit.
