Need Barbones laptop for BackTrack4
slinuxuzer
I am looking for a good bare bones laptop that has USB 2.0, DVD drive, 10+ gig HDD that I can run BackTrack4 on. I am looking for a reputable vendor for a Bare bones laptop but so far have come up short, can anyone point me in the right direction? would like to stay under 150$ but can go more for a good notebook

Try a referb netbook and an external dvd
Some of the 8.9 in ones can be cheap and work with backtrack ... that what I use

A netbook is about all you need really. Just make sure the wireless chipset is supported and you should be good. You really dont even need a DVD drive in it if its just tinker around with.
