Booked and ready...
*****UPDATE*****
Figured I'd just post my pass here - 854/900. I really don't care for the way they word the questions on this exam. I've taken 2 Cisco exams most recently and have gotten used to straight forward questions with clear cut answers. I've never taken an exam with so many questions that ask for the "BEST" answer or "MOST" likely action. Time wasn't an issue. I spent plenty of time thinking on alot of questions and didn't come anywhere close to running out. My best advice to others would be to read the questions and answers carefully and take a moment to think before answering. My stay here in the S+ forum was short, but helpful none the less.
Good luck to everyone! I'm off to look for 70-290 materials on Amazon as my MCSE trek begins!
*****THE END*****
After going through the LabSim for this exam and reading Darril's book once, I scored 92% on the 100 question practice exam. So I booked the exam for Thursday and feel pretty confident.
For anyone considering this exam, I'm no security expert. I have 8 years of IT experience, but most of it has been in desktop support. Anyone who has been in IT for a while, though, will be familiar with most of the terms and ideas in this material. I just have to hammer on a few acronyms from that cryptography section before the exam.
Good luck to everyone - hope to post a pass here on Thursday!

I did well on the final exam at the end of Darril's book. I only got 6 wrong. I have been taking practice exams and I normally scored 850+ on most of them. Right now I am just fine tuning the topics I feel I could do better on. I am not going to be taking anymore practice exams this week. Just going to re-read some sections in Darril's book. -
