1242AG wireless client can't get an IP
BroadcastStorm
I am currently configuring a 1242AG WAP, and the wireless client is unable to obtain an IP address to a DHCP server which is Windows.
Wireless client is able to connect to the SSID, but gets an APIPA, the 1242AG is connected to a 3560 switch, port is configured as trunk.

This is resolved, the laptop I was using to test is unable to pick IP address to the DHCP server for some reason.

I've had this same issue before. What I did is assign a static IP address to the station from the DHCP server. I wasn't very happy with the "fix" but I had to get it working ASAP.

Perhaps some type of exclusion?
Might want to debug the client on the controller to see what's going on their. Or maybe a Cisco IOS bug.. Back with v4 it was recommended to not use the internal DHCP on the WLC.. (Came from TAC when I was running into problems with it.)
(v7.0.98.0 is the most bug free in my experience so far.. Thank god)
