What are the hot IT areas in the US at the moment?

I live in the Northern VA area, near DC. I know this area is always big, but where else in the country is IT hot at the moment? Seattle? LA? Charlotte?

Charlotte's economy is built around banking. WellsFargo formley Wachovia is also huge here.

Yeah just dont narrow your list down to NC, and if you move make sure you have a permant job lined up and that it actually pays a living wage.

I didn't take a job offer up there for that reason...

They actually only wanted to pay me 7% more than I was making in Louisville, KY or so...
