I recently rediscovered ELO's Time album on MOG. I think it's an excellent transition piece between the electronic stylings of the late 70's and early 80's.

Lalo Schifrin is probably my favorite soundtrack composer of all time. Great theme from Dirty Harry. Funky and sinister all at once.

Had a busy morning getting out and off to the office, a bit stressful. So, no NPR, it was music time. First up was some Beatles as it was in the CD player. But, it wasn't what I was really looking for. So over to the radio; KJazz and some good timing to land on Cantaloupe Island.
But still, I wanted to hear something else and so, I turned to one of my favorite pieces of music ever written:
If you have a spare hour it's worth the listen. It's amazing to think of how the guy wrote the symphony while completely deaf. Brilliant.Work in progress: picking up Postgres, elastisearch, redis, Cloudera, & AWS.
Next up: eventually the RHCE and to start blogging again.
