Cisco Command and Non cisco SFP Modules

Anyone know off hand what the command is to allow non cisco sfp modules to be used in cisco switches?
Ignore I found it :-
switch(config)# service unsupported-transceiver
switch(config)# no errdisable detect cause gbic-invalid

Yeah. That command doesn't exist on every IOS or device tho...

True but it exists on the nexus so that gets me out of a hole for now. I can't believe there being so cheap over a couple sfp module's v the cost of the nexus !
