IOS load on mac
Has anyone been able to pull it off on a large file. I usually use tftp32 on a PC, but I have the Possiblity to get a Mac at work. I know programs like Visio aren't happening, but the ability to TFTP large IOS files is a deal braker. So has anyone had any luck with that?

And for Visio, give Omnigraffe a try (http://www.omnigroup.com/products/omnigraffle/)"Not everything that counts can be counted, and not everything that can be counted counts.” -

Download TFTP Server 3.3.1 Free - Configure OS X TFTP server - Softpedia
Otherwise I just use an XP VM. -

I can second this suggestion... I used to use this on my mac... the biggest downfall was (from what I can recall) you had to "create the filename" before you actually can transfer it over! Other than that... it works pretty well... I now use my XP laptop for TFTP & Visio.
To take care of the visio, I use Concept Draw, but its quite expensive!! Haven't tried OmniGraffle. HTH.

tiersten Member Posts: 4,505Not sure why you're installing extra software to make a TFTP server on a Mac as its built in already via the BSD portions of OSX.
As root:
/sbin/service tftp stop
/sbin/service tftp start
Your files you want to transfer need to be kept in /private/tftpboot
tftpd configuration is /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/tftp.plist
