website hosting and domain name registration

Anyone have any good recommendations for web hosting and domain registration? I am trying to help a friend get a small business going, and they want to do something inexpensive. They would like to have webmail access to start as well. Suggestions?

For my domain registration i use godaddy they have alot of domain specials, as for the hosting i use ixwebhosting for my personal websites their support is pretty much decent but the downtime is something to be desired of for private work i use hostmonster low cost and good uptime good for small business i may say hostmonster and ixwebhosting to start with u get a free domain name as well
