Does a fail get logged?

Do failed exams get logged in some kind of database which people could view? Or not?

Wondering if its worth delaying my exam for the greater good or not having a "tarnished" record.

Cheers

I am pretty sure it will only get logged on your prometric profile, but having never failed I cannot be sure.

I failed an MS beta a few years ago. It does not show on my transcript, but does show in the Cert Planner and on the testing companies site. Since you would only be showing someone your transcript, I wouldn't worry about it.

I failed the Win 7 exam the first time I took it. It only shows up on the Prometric site, not on the MCP site/your transcript. Plus, there is no shame in failing an exam. It happens.

Like others have said it does show up on Prometric's site but not Pearson Vue's. No one has to know but you and as others stated there is no shame for failing, just quitting.
