Pass Today with a 824!! Tips on what not to do !!!
Just pass the N+ about 30 minutes ago with a score of 824.
I spend a day on each of the 13 chapters from CompTIA Network+ Certification Study Guide, 2009 Author: Glen E. Clarke <--- cannot recommend this book, missing tons of information
For a total of 13 days <<-- not recommended
Spend 1 day with the study guide from MCMCSE
Spend 3 hours reading Mike Meyers All-in-One on Wireless Security and Troubleshooting <- I completely agree with other on here --- great book
Did all the 3 practice exams for N+ off of this website (until I got 100% on each) ß 3 hours totals night before the exam; This help so much.
My 2 cents for the exact exam:
Tons of questions on distavector and link state for router.
Know IGP,EGP,IGRP,BGP,OSPF ß-- very heavy
Only basic questions on security
Know your tools, soft and hard
Study all the protocols and ports number
Security+ next – taking it in 2 weeks; wish me luck please !!!! and more

+1 on everything he said hehe but I think it should be a ship instead of a boat, theres a bunch of us just finished N+ now trying to get Sec+ by year end.
On my N+ exam I only remember a few Routing questions.

jvhall83 Member Posts: 10 ■□□□□□□□□□Congrats on the pass. Would everyone agree that its better to get the N+ over with and then take the security+? I just have my A+ at the moment but have studied for both.
