For those people contemplating the SSCP exam, the 2nd edition of the SSCP CBK Study Guide will be out very soon:

However, the SSCP exam will be drawing from information in the previous edition (gold book) for quite a while. Still, it can't hurt to have both guides.

I agree. There is no way I will be able to justify getting both.

When a new edition of any book is released, the previous edition is often later heavily discounted to clear room in the warehouse.

Seeing how I just got my SSCP CBK that doesn't help me lol. I need to get cracking on finishing up access controls
