Issue with VMWare or unattended file?

Whenever I try installing Windows 7 in VMWare with an unattended file using the steps from the MS Press book it always hangs at the same spot. Has anyone got this to work in VMWare? Trying to figure out what may be causing this.

Guess it's a known issue.
Windows 7 installation stoped on "completing installation" with unattended file
Removing the USB drive resolves it.
