Question about WD greendrive (EARS) formatting

When formatting a WD green drive (EARS) in Windows 7, will it automatically use the correct the 4k sector size, or do I need to manually set it?

I just bought an EARs 1.5TB a week ago. It does indeed use the 4096 allocation size. I'm on Win7 Pro.
