Taking Sec+ tomorrow
Using the advice from you guys I read through Darrill's book and feel pretty good about taking the test tomorrow.
Any last second advice from previous takers would be nice though.

1. Get some sleep.
2. Brush up a good hour or two on what you need to.
3. Come back here and post your passed post. -

The exam was given as the final of one of my college courses. Pass the Sec+ and you get an A. Didn't really pay attention too much during the lectures and Darrill's book is the real reason for the pass, which I only got about a week ago.
I'm toying with the idea of getting the Network+, but I'm not sure if I'll ever need it. I'm planning of transferring to WGU in February and it wasn't listed as one of the certs needed to obtain the Security Degree, so I'll probably skip it. -

That is correct, you need the CCNA: Security instead.
Congrats on the pass dude! Well done! Your 790 is no better or worse than someone's 900. -
