Hi all...
Just after some opinions and advice,
Im trying to get into the IT/networking scene, and im currently working on my CCNA. The following is a job ad for call-center operators, is it worthwhile applying for this position? I dont really see it as a technical position and perhaps isnt really relevant towards where I want to go.

Your role as a customer service representative will be to provide outstanding customer service, assisting customers with a range of internet service issues and solving problems using language that the customer can easily understand.Your aim will be to resolve the customer's query in the first call.
You will need to be available between the hours of 9am -2pm and 5pm-11pm across Monday to Sunday. Training hours will differ.
In return, [Company] seeks excellent customer service skills and the ability to work in a disciplined call centre environment.Customer service is undoubtedly the main driver but this would work best if coupled with the desire to develop technical knowledge in the long term.
Im a newbie.... please be easy on me.
