Not being a Windows expert, I've relied on Bott's previous Windows XP Inside Out. I think it's a great series, so I have this Win 7 edition on my wish list.

I read the Excel 2007 press and inside out and both provided me with a lot of knowledge. Those inside out books are packed with awesome information.

Hi, I just picked this book up from Amazon (good price - $31. new w/CD).

Dug into it during the holiday... Well put together, excellent detail, and it is easy to read & understand. The included CD also contains the eBook version (searchable) so you can use it at work & avoid having to lug the book.

Contains excellent examples. Handy resources as well.

So far I am about 1/3 of the way through it.

I found the Windows 7 Resource Kit to be much more useful and in depth.

Yeah I am not sure how useful it would be for the cert if it doesn't directly focus on the materials, just shows you how to use Windows 7 in day to day operations?
