Reading through the postings in this forum will give you a good idea of some of the content on the CWNP's wireless exams and how to prepare for this. You might find my blog article on the CWTS cert useful too: CWTS Certified Wireless Technology Specialist Official Study Guide | TechExams.net Blogs

I believe the test is appropriately rated as an associate or administrator level certification. I will be taking my CCNA in the next couple of months (job requirements) and after studying for it I would put it on par with it for technical knowledge. I believe the CWNA test (having only taken CCNA practice tests) is easier than the CCNA test because it only has multiple choice and multiple select questions. CCNA questions seem to be straight forward but CWNA are analytical in nature so you truely have to understand the science.

    Best of luck.

I'd like to point out that the CCNA and CWNA certs have entry-level equivalents in the CCENT and CWTS certifications respectively. People just getting into computer and wireless networking would do well to look at these two certs first.

you are right gentlemen .I had my CCNA test 8 months ago , and I know its have some difficulties but I passed it .
Its good idea to take an entry level certs at first , But I have been working in wireless for 1 year so I would rather to take CWNA directly .
Thank you very much for your advice

This exam in particular has a huge amount of information. Not only is there is a vast quantity, but the range of the topics can be all over the place.

Had I had more time I would have done the CWTS first. I must say that I learned a large amount of information from the CWNP certifications.

If you compare it to CCNA then its not. However, dont underestimate CWNA. I guess it would also depend on how much experience on theory you have in RF.
