Slowhand Mod Posts: 5,161 ModAs MentholMoose mentioned, the Windows Server 2003 exams aren't slated to be retired at this time. Microsoft will more than likely make a fairly noisy announcement when they do, much as they did when the Windows 2000 Server exams were set to retire, so they can get people on the bandwagon to upgrade.
It looks like Microsoft's got a pseudo-policy in place for the retirement of exams:Q. What does it mean when an exam is retired?
A. An exam is usually retired when two newer versions of the product are available, markets around the world are no longer using that version of the product, and few people are taking that version of the exam.

Free DevOps/Azure Resources: Visual Studio Dev Essentials

And your MCSA/MCSE will never technically expire. It will just lose value in the marketplace. An MCSE in 2040 will likely mean nothing. Congratulations, you know a technology that is 40 years old!Decide what to be and go be it. -
