Might turn my 4U into a console server
Is this a dumb idea? Here's how I'm thinking I can do it:
2 of these Newegg.com - Koutech PCI to USB2.0 Card Model IO-PU520
And (3 to start) Newegg.com - SABRENT 1 ft. USB to Serial db9 Male RS-232 (9-pin) Converter Model SBT-USC1M
The usb-> serial adapters are a little pricey, I'll probably shop around and try to get them cheaper.
The 4U box I'd be using as a console server is also my gns3 box. It's running Ubuntu 10.10.
Looking like about ~$60.
I'm always open to better ideas as well.

That's assuming you can make all this stuff work in Linux, which I have no idea about.
