Question about Diskpart with USB and images

After you format the usb drive diskpart and set it active and copy all your windows files to the flash drive. Do you have to change the BIOS boot sequence or just boot to F12 and select the drive from there like if you where doing a network image / ZTI.

It depends on your Bios.
In some cases the option to boot from USB will be disabled by default.

In some cases "I seen it on a netbook", the option to boot from USB will not be visible unless it detects a USB device.

etc.

So, Basically you have to check the BIOS.
