N+ or CCNA

Should I have a N+ cert and CCNA or just get a CCNA since wouldn't both be redundant?

    Agreed.

    And if you are not familiar with basic Networking I would strongly recommend the Network+ first before the CCNA, although I have never studied for the CCNA, just observed others on this forum and their experiences.

    I concur with the other two. N+ will help a bit with intro to stuff you'll see on CCNA.
