ibcritn Member Posts: 340I believe the exam fee is between 125-150 per test. CCNA isn't required for you to TAKE CCNA Sec, but you can't get CCNA Sec until you complete CCNA.
CCNA can be taken in 1 or 2 exams, and its very likely you'll need CCNA knowledge to tackle CCNA Sec.....there really isn't much logic in doing them out of order.CISSP | GCIH | CEH | CNDA | LPT | ECSA | CCENT | MCTS | A+ | Net+ | Sec+

CiskHo Member Posts: 188Take the CCNA (1 or 2 part) before the CCNA:Sec. Passing CCNA:Sec is useless without having the CCNA prerequisite. You are going to need a lot of the knowledge from the CCNA studies in order to pass the CCNA:Sec. Also, the CCNA:Sec exam cost is more like $250, from what I recall. I think the 1 part CCNA costs $250 as well and the 2 part CCNA was about $150-175 per exam.My Lab Gear:
