What job should I be looking for after I graduate?

I applied to WGU recently and I'm pretty sure I'm going to be transferring in as a Junior because of certs and college background. I already worked 2 years as Technical support, not really help desk, but I had to image and backup in-house computers, a lot of preventative maintenance stuff, and provide help for customers migrating from Exchange to Zimbra.

I plan on getting the Network design and Management degree for the MCITP: EA. Would it be weird if I were to still apply for help desk positions when I have an MCITP:EA and 2 years of exp? I felt I never did much help desk and people always say you start off as help desk if you want to be an admin or a network engineer. Just wanted to know if after all that, I'm still considered entry level. Trying to find a part-time job but no one is biting because I think HR is filtering my resume because I have no degree (not even an associates) and I can't do a full-time job and study 20+ hours a week as well.

I don't think it would be weird at all to apply for help desk jobs. In fact, with two years experience, you will most likely only be able to land a help desk job even with higher level Microsoft certs.

Im no expert, but I can tell you as a help desk guy that this job is definitely needed to build a foundation. Do it for about 3 years, build certs/experience, and move forward from there..

As far as experience , have you tried to get a volunteer gig at a hospital? Thats how I got my current job.
