Connecting routers with serial cables in packet tracer?
mark076h
How do you connect two routers together with the serial cable in Packet tracer? I got it working with the automatic configuration cable but is there a way to select which router would get the DCE end so i can practice the clock rate and bandwidth commands?

In the Connections, red wires, on your right. The one with the Clock is the DCE.
You might have to add the WIC module on the router depending which you take!

As was stated, go to connections in the bottom left, pick the DCE cable (the red cable before last) and drag the clock side to whichever router you want to be the DCE.
And since Packet Tracer is simulating, remember to power off the router and then insert the WIC-2 or WIC-1 module.
Remember to put in the clock rate command.
