................................. I GOT THE JOB!!!
Heck yeah! Network Engineer IV baby! They said the pretty much had me in mind before I even interviewed and wanted to see if I could back up all the knowledge on my resume and how personable I was. When I came in I did amazing, and the other techs had a lot of skill, but were not very customer centric. Guess all those years doing client presentations while I was IT Consulting paid off =]
They said they were impressed by my deep technical knowledge of routing protocols and Cisco Firewalls.
So I gotta submit my to my criminal background check, and once that's done I start Feb 7th!
Ahhhhh I'm soooo happy!

Unfortunately it comes a day after my phone gets shut off. So I've kinda asked my folks for an emergency loan. But it is nice because the week after I work I will be getting a fat consulting check for all the work I've done with another client I started with. And if I work it right I can most likely keep my consulting client and bring in a nice extra chunk everymonth.
Does anyone live in the South San Jose area that needs a Systems Administrator job, I'm going to decline the offer from the other job, and I know they really want someone who is talented. Least I could do is give them some recomendations.Currently Reading:
